Calcium

Calcium has always been a mineral in fashion. It is, of course, an essential element for young children and infants as they build strong bones, but it is readily available in a wide variety of sources: dairy products, fish, broccoli, and many other common foods. And some of the ones that don’t have natural calcium, like orange juice and breakfast cereals, are reinforced with this element. Even if Jimmy doesn’t drink his milk, eating a normal, balanced diet will provide plenty of calcium . . . and zinc and selenium too!
