Blue Extremities
Young babies’ hands and feet sometimes turn blue, thanks to the tiny size of their blood vessels. When these vessels constrict they may limit blood flow, but the resulting bluish tinge doesn’t necessarily mean your baby is cold. After the first couple of months these blue episodes will become less common.
