Knock Knees

Knock knees, a condition characterized by a turning in of the knees, are relatively common in children, especially in toddlers who have very flexible ligaments. This condition usually disappears as a child gets older, although it sometimes persists into childhood and even adulthood as a normal variant. Being overweight can accentuate the condition by increasing the load on the legs and worsening their angulation, so this is another good reason to keep your child within normal weight parameters.
